The record-less, disc-less, tape-less digital musical media revolution unfolding, manifesting in the mp3, avi, flash files that are filling up our hard drives, ipods, and, increasingly, our cell phones, makes it easy to go back and appreciate (maybe for the first time) the music that sort of randomly washed over and slipped (sometimes silently) by me these past few decades.

Time to download John Prine, Johnny Cash, early Dylan, early Donovan, White Stripes/Jack White, Ice Cube, U2, etc etc.
